Writing a posthumous message: an act of love

A posthumous message is not a cold farewell: it is a prolonged presence. It’s saying “I’m here” to a grandchild on their 18th birthday, to a spouse on the morning of a birthday, to a friend when they leave.

Finding the right tone

No need to search for the perfect sentence. Speak as you would speak at the table. Tell an anecdote, share a piece of advice, express pride. Sincerity always goes beyond rhetoric.

To help you, MYWIE offers a voice dictation mode and four writing tones (tender, solemn, joyful, transmission) which restructure your story without betraying its voice.

Choosing the Right Trigger

A message can be delivered on a specific date, on an anniversary, or conditional on verified death. You remain in control at all times: modification, deletion, addition of recipients.

Each message is individually encrypted and can only be decrypted by its authenticated recipient.

Format: letter, audio or video?

The letter is reread. The audio sounds like a voice. The video recreates a look. Mix formats depending on what you want to convey. A one-minute video can weigh more than a long speech.
